A fleece jacket is a single warm layer for everyday wear. A tracksuit is a two-piece set for games and sports days. Many schools use both: the fleece jacket for cold mornings and our school tracksuit for sport.

Caring for a fleece jacket

• Close the zip and turn the fleece jacket inside out before washing.
• Wash in cool water with a mild detergent; do not use fabric softener, which reduces warmth.
• Do not iron fleece, and keep it away from heat.
• Hang to dry in the shade — it dries quickly.
• Avoid washing with towels, which shed lint onto fleece.
