Plain and striped V-neck school sweaters in sizes 22 to 42, from KSh 750 — warm, soft and made to keep their shape all year.
About our school sweaters
Our school sweaters are the V-neck pullovers that appear on almost every Kenyan uniform list, from pre-primary to senior school. We stock plain and striped school sweaters in sizes 22 to 42, in the five colours most schools use — forest green, royal blue, maroon, red and navy blue — and we deliver them to your door anywhere in Kenya.
Plain and striped school sweaters
There are two styles of sweaters in our range, and both cost the same in every size:
- Plain school sweater — a classic V-neck in one solid colour. The most common style for primary schools.
- Striped school sweater — the same V-neck with contrast stripes knitted into the neckline, used by many secondary and private schools.
Your school's uniform list tells you which one to buy. If the list shows lines around the neck, choose the striped version.
School sweaters prices by size
All our sweaters are priced by size, so you only pay for the size your child needs:

On each product page, the price updates as soon as you choose a size, so there are no surprises at checkout.
School sweaters colours
Across Kenya, sweaters are most often forest green, royal blue, maroon, red or navy blue, and we stock all five. Green is common in public primary schools, maroon and red in many private and secondary schools, and navy and royal blue across both. If your school uses another colour, such as grey, purple, black or yellow, write it in your order notes or WhatsApp us and we will confirm whether we can supply it.
Why our school sweaters last
School sweaters work harder than almost any other piece of clothing a child owns. They are pulled on and off several times a day, worn on the playground and washed every week. We chose a knit that copes with all of that:
- Pill-resistant acrylic-blend yarn that keeps a smooth surface.
- Colour-fast dyes that stay bright in sun and wash.
- Firm ribbed cuffs, neckline and waistband that do not stretch out.
- Reinforced shoulder seams to stop sleeves pulling away.
- Soft handle that is comfortable over a school shirt all day.
Choosing the right size of school sweaters
The size number on our sweaters is close to the chest measurement in inches. Measure around the fullest part of your child's chest, under the arms, over a thin T-shirt, and choose the nearest size. As a rough guide, pre-primary children wear 22–24, lower primary 26–28, upper primary 30–32, junior school 34–36, and senior school 36–42. If your child is between sizes, choose the larger one so the sweater lasts the whole year. Our uniform size guide has a full table by age.
How many school sweaters does a child need?
Most day scholars manage with two school sweaters: one to wear and one in the wash. Boarding students in cold areas usually take two or three, because drying takes longer. If your child is growing fast, it can be cheaper to buy one now and the next size up at the start of the following year.
School sweaters with embroidered badges
Schools, PTA committees and bursars can order school sweaters in bulk, in their exact colours and stripe combinations, with the school badge embroidered on the chest. Embroidery is neat and permanent, and we pack orders by class and size for easy distribution. See our bulk school uniforms page for how it works.
Caring for school sweaters
Turn school sweaters inside out, wash in cool water with a mild detergent, avoid bleach, squeeze gently and dry flat in the shade. Label every sweater with your child's name — school sweaters are the item most often lost at school.
Complete the uniform
School sweaters are worn over a school shirt, with school trousers and shorts or a school dress. Add a school tie, school marvin and school scarf for cold mornings.
When to buy school sweaters
Demand for school sweaters peaks in December and January, before the first term, and again before the cold months of June and July. Ordering a week or two before you need them avoids the rush and gives time to exchange a size if needed.
A tip from experienced parents: write your child's name inside the neckline with a laundry marker as soon as the parcel arrives, before the first day of school. Identical jumpers are very easy to mix up in classrooms and on the playground, and a clear name means a lost item usually finds its way home.
